It’s all about relationships. It has been said that leadership is nothing more than influence. I would argue that the only way to have true influence is to build relationships in order to see the world through others’ eyes.⠀

One of my favorite parts of coaching and leadership is the opportunity it provides to build lifelong relationships with my players and staff. The time spent pouring into their lives and mentoring them on and off the court truly gives me joy. So, when one of my former players goes out of the way to reconnect or come support a current team, it truly means the world to me. It reminds me that all of the hard days or days when things just aren’t clicking will one day be a fond memory and a part of their success story. For that, I am very thankful and excited to keep creating those memories!⠀
